Slamming Brutal Deathcore and Technical Brutal Deathcore. How do they differ?

Thats exactly why I HATE all of these stupid subgenres. Death, Thrash, Gore, Grind, Black,Hardcore,Punk (may be some others). Thats all we really need. I don't think people had to add all of the Pre- definitions in front of them. It has created such a cluster fuck in defining music now.

Yes, because Slamming Brutal Death Metal and Melodic Death Metal is the same thing..

Its all a form of "Death Metal". Of course they're going to sound different. Each band has there own take on it. It's becoming like the gay culture. They had lgbt and now it's lgbtq. Each year we keep adding another sub catagory to subgenres. When does it stop? You don't think it's getting crazy?

Subgenres are needed for more accurate filtering. For example, I only need Technical Brutal Death Metal and does not need Industrial Death Metal. Subgenres will allow me to separate one from another. At the same time, if I need all Death Metal including sub-genres, I'll get it

Oh Stan I wasn't referring to the site. I was just saying as in a general sense. Too many people now days are so confused as in whats what. Just like Aeon IX as an example. He wasn't sure of the difference. I'll say "we" as fans have created a beast with all of the different marriages between genres.

For that matter, I also do not like any tricky prefixes to genres, but there are basic ones, such as "Brutal", and without them it would not be very convenient

I am completely fine with that. It's all the goofy stuff like you said. Old school symphonic melodic smooth jazz slamming grincore. In my opinion is nuts. Lol
